Resumo:
The present work had as objective to evaluate the impact of the environment on the
physiological behavior of different genetic groups of goat created in the natural
conditions o f the semi-arid paraiba's at two times (it dries and rainy). 21 animals, seven
of each genetic group had been used, distributed in a delineation entirely radomized
with three treatments and seven repetitions. The ambient variable, Temperature Dry
Bulb (TBS), Temperature of Humid Bulb (TBU), Relative Humidity of Air (UR),
Temperature of Black Globe (TGN) in the shade and the sun at the time dries and rainy
and Index of Temperature of Black Globe and Umidade (ITGU) in the shade and sun,
had been registered of the 10:00 the 15:00hours. The physiological parameters: Rectal
temperature (TR), Breathing Frequency (FR) and Superficial Temperature had been
surveyed per three days not consecutive. It had time effect (P<0,05), for all the ambient
variable, with exception of TBU, TGN and ITGU in the shade. With regard to the
physiological parameters it had significant effect (P<0,05) for genetic group in relation
the FR and TR after estresse it, also had effect of time (dries and rainy) and hour (before
and after it estresse it), being the found average greaters after stress it at the time dries,
with exception o f the TR. How much to the Index o f Tolerance to the Heat (ITC) it did
not have significant difference (P>0,05) between the studied genotypes, but it had
significant effect (P<0,05) for time, where the average greater was found at the time
dries. It was observed that in the conditions of this experiment the goat ones had
demonstrated to be suitable the climatic conditions o f the semi-arid northeastern.
