Resumen:
Vegetable tannins can be found in various forest species and in various parts of the world. of the vegetable, such as wood, bark, fruits and seeds. But the leather tanners of the Northeast Region have in the red angico (Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan. var. cebil (Gris.) Alts.) their only source of tannins, exploring exclusively its bark. Thus, the objective of this work was to analyze the concentrations of tannins present in fruits, seeds, fruits and seeds, leaves, thin branches and bark of red angico (Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan. var. cebil to better take advantage of the potential of tree and minimize the impact on areas with angico, since today sustainability is what is sought in the research carried out. of the demand for tannins by traditional tanneries in the Northeast region of Brazil, studies to test the viability of the tannins present in the fruits for the tanning of skins and other uses would be interesting.
