Resumen:
Evaluation of patients treated at a dental school clinic. This study aimed to identify the sociodemographic profile and level of satisfaction of the patients attending a dental school clinic. Therefore, a cross-sectional, quantitative and descriptive study was carried out, and interviewed the users of the school-clinic after dental care. The study had a sample of 114 patients, obtained by convenience. The data obtained were analyzed with the aid of the SPSS 18.0 program, with a predominant profile of the female gender (59.6%) (n = 68), 61.4% (n = 70) being adults aged 18-35 years , 82.5% (n = 94) had a monthly income of 0 to 3 monthly minimum wages and 50.0% (n = 57) of the patients sought care in the school-clinic after indicating a friend. All the analyzed questions were positively evaluated: accessibility (47.4%), warmth (87.7%), modernization of equipment (64.0%), environmental hygiene (93.0%), 7%), access to information on treatment (95.6%). The interviewees were satisfied with the service received at the school-clinic. However, they suggested that there were more visits during the week for faster treatment completion. This study helps to detect possible failures in the institution, which can be adjusted, improving the service offered to the community.
