Resumo:
The aim of the research described here was to do an analysis Cinderella's intertextuality in
the works Narizinho Arrebitado (1931) and Cara de Coruja (1931), by Monteiro Lobato; as
well as to relate the intertext's reception that can facilitate the reading of literary text through
teacher's mediation. Firstly, we did a theoretical study about the narratives, we allow for the
paraphrase and stylization like categories used by the writer in the process of reconstruction
Perrault and brothers Grimm's Cinderella in his two stories. Afterwards we carried out an
activity of reading in fourth and sixth grade classrooms (Campina Grande's public schools)
for observing like students interpreted and received Cara de Coruja. We collect the results
with tape recorders and questionnaires. After this we related how was the classes, it is
analysing to according Reception Theory guidelines, Jauss (1994) and Iser (1996) and
Receptive Method, Aguiar and Bordini (1993). In the end of this research we've concluded
that intertext can actualize the intellectual and imaginative knowledge of the reader-student.
