Abstract

The need to supply existing energy demand through renewable natural resources has been verified by the potential depletion of energy sources from fossil fuels. Among the alternative sources of energy, solar stands out as sufficiently promising. Thus, the objective was to evaluate the importance perception of installing the photovoltaic power plant at the Center for Science and Technology Agrolimentar of the UFCG, as well as access to information on the subject involved. The methodological procedures were based on two stages: the first one started from a bibliographical survey, as well as from the quantitative consultation of scientific articles specialized in the theme next to the database site, the second stage consisted of the application of structured questionnaires in the CCTA , in which he evaluated the level of perception of his technical, scientific and academic community. As a result, we noticed that there was, in general, the importance perception of the implantation of the photovoltaic solar energy microgeneration unit, which may contribute to future research.
