In this study aimed to evaluate the environmental impacts in the "car wash" operation phase in the urban area of Pombal-PB. The methodology used was based on bibliographical research, field visits, photodocumentation, use of geoprocessing tools and environmental impacts assessment. Initially, anthropic activities were surveyed in the area of influence of the enterprise. A simplified environmental diagnosis was elaborated and the environmental impacts were identified through methods of environmental impact assessment (Ad Hoc, Check Lists and Interaction Matrix), among which were selected and classified the significant impacts. According to the results, it were found 15 negative and 08 positive impacts. Between all impacts, 07 were significant and 16 were not significant. The measures implemented by the owner of the enterprise will significantly contribute to avoid or reduce a higher incidence of negative impacts. Among the measures mentioned are to make use of environmental education in guiding employees to better use the measures already implemented and implement the selective collection and enable the environmentally appropriate destination for other waste produced in other activities of the enterprise.
