Résumé:
The concern with the esthetics has excelled, and with the smile is not different. Thus the
search for rehabilitation of anterior teeth has been widely sought. The indirect dental veneers
of porcelain are an alternative to the search for a perfect smile. They restore esthetics and
function rebuilding self-esteem for patients. Another positive point that we can highlight is
the preservation of tooth structure, with a conservative technique, thus becoming one of the
most recommended and chosen options. The aim of this study was to report a clinical case
using porcelain veneers, involving the planning and execution for esthetic and functional reestablishment.
Male patient of 41 years old attended the dental clinic school at the Federal
University of Campina Grande, seeking for a procedure that would improve the esthetics of
your smile. In the initial approach was made occlusal analysis, periodontal probing and the
protocol of photographs of the patient. After a careful esthetic analysis of the photographs and
preoperative models, the treatment plan was designed and discussed with the patient, which
the porcelain dental veneers were chosen as a treatment for the dental elements
11,12,13,21,22,23 for esthetic and functional rehabilitation. We can conclude that the
porcelain veneers promoted excellent results both esthetic and functional, and these results
were only possible because of the knowledge of the techniques and materials used.
