For the preparation of this manual, research was carried out in scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Pubmed, CAPES Journal Portal, Bireme, among others, with key words: management, behavior, children, Pediatric Dentistry. Research was also carried out in textbooks of Pediatric Dentistry and psychology applied to dentistry. Were selected, based on the current literature, the main behavior management strategies in pediatric dentistry. Each strategy selected for the manual was described regarding the definition, purpose, indication, how to do it, precautions and examples. There were also professional photos made to illustrate most of the behavior management strategies addressed. The content of this manual has generated the creation of an applicative for mobile phones with great utility to have on hand the content on behavior management strategies in clinical practice for both student and professional, to verify and remember of the use of these strategies, as for the patient, because you can show him/her the pictures, and ask them to choose how they want to be treated, therefore, being a tool of clinical utility.
