Resumo:
The native vegetation of the semi-arid is the caatinga, an ecosystem of extreme importance for the Northeast region, the Caatinga Biome has an exclusive occurrence in Brazil. The objective of this research was to carry out a phytosociological inventory of the species of the shrub-tree extract in an anthropic and non-anthropic area under caatinga vegetation in the Riacho Verde site, in the city of Pombal - PB. It was performed with 4 plots of 10 x 20 in each area that was surveyed. And they showed results as of Mimosa Hostilis that presented the absolute frequency in the two areas. In view of the results it can be seen that, The most important families in both number of species and individuals in both areas were Fabaceae and Euphorbiaceae. These families cover most of the woody species of the flora of the Caatinga biome. These two families present the largest number of species in several floristic surveys with woody species in the caatinga, corroborating with the data verified in this study. The species that are most important in the study areas under the phytosociological aspects were Mimosa hostilis, Jatropha mollissima, Aspidosperma pyrifolium in area I; The species that are most important in the study areas under the phytosociological aspects were Mimosa tenuiflora and Combretum leprosum in area II; The diversity of species is considered low compared to other forest fragments of caatinga already studied.
