Resumo:
The present study aimed to investigate the life story of Aurília Breckenfeld Dantas, notably about the memories of her educational practices, which comprises the period from 1946 to 1986, which discusses her teaching activities in the municipality of São João do Rio do Peixe in the interior of the Paraíba. As a problematizing research question, this study was developed from the following theme: What are the contributions of Aurília Breckenfeld Dantas to the education of São João do Rio do Peixe-PB? The study had theoretical support mainly in: Perrot (2007), Louro (1997; 2004), Almeida (1998), Lopes; Galvao (2001). This research is part of the field of the theoretical-methodological approach of the biographical method that it is possible to describe events not only in a linear way, but with an emphasis on more relevant situations of the biographical subject. forming multiple generations. Articulating with the exercise of teaching, he built his training, ascended the primary level, a condition that entered the teaching profession, to the Postgraduate. Through his teaching practices, he engaged in the construction of values, and the formation of the students. At the Colégio Ministro José Américo de Almeida, she carried out the role of manager with dedication, which contributed significantly to both the improvement of the institution and the learning process of the students.
