"O mal está no lado de lá": sacralização do político e calvinismo no Brasil.

Abstract

Calvinism is known as a theological orientation centered on human life, which governs and submits, means of predestination of the acts and rumors of life. The first decades of the present century has observed its expansion. The Calvinist resurgence is characterized by internal displacements, a kind of conversion to calism, by the widespread use of digital media to communicate their ideas and ideologies, and their adherence to conservatism. In this sense, there has been a change in Christian identity, previously demarcated by relevant religious elements, and now increasingly political elements, exogenous to faith. From the theoretical and methodological contributions of Cultural Sociology, these elements and the narratives in the formation of moral communities limited by the sacralization of the political were investigated. Thus, Calvinists will divide into true and Christian, being considered true who adhered politically and to the right, opposing themselves badly by the left, opposing themselves as being of bad communism by the left, understood as the opposite of true and conservative conservative.
