Resumo:
The developed theme consists of the study, characterization and analysis of a High-
frequency pulsating DC-link three-phase inverter without electrolytic capacitor for pumping
of fluids using the energy generated by photovoltaic panels. During the study, the choice
of the DC/DC converter to be used in the DC power stage, the design of the magnetic
components, the reasons for not using the electrolytic capacitors and the switching strategies
for DC/DC, DC/AC and for the snubber circuit are discussed. The importance of replacing
the electrolytic capacitor by a pulsating DC-link, or by another type of capacitor is addressed.
Simulation and experimental results of the proposed inverter are addressed to validate this
work.
