Resumo:
A good budget engineer must understand all the costs that make up a construction work. Thus, evaluating the possible expenses generated from a work becomes a challenge to be met by all those who are subject to the preparation of budget spreadsheets, and for that, it is essential to use reference systems of unitary price suitable for the type of work in question. Therefore, this research compares the total cost of a road paving work budgeted through the SINAPI and SICRO 3 databases. where the part of the work in question is located. From this, a budget equivalent to that of the base worksheet was prepared using the official DNIT referential system for road works, SICRO 3. This research comparatively analyzes the differences and variations in the total costs of the construction stages of the work when budgeted by SINAPI and SICRO 3. In addition, the items present in range A common to the two budget spreadsheets, SINAPI and SICRO 3, were compared to determine the possible causes that resulted in cost variations of the analyzed service. From the results presented, the SINAPI budget had a total cost greater than that of SICRO 3, representing a difference of R$ 77,695.16 in the increase of SINAPI in relation to SICRO 3, that is, the budget of SICRO 3 represented a reduction of 16.81% in relation to the global cost value of the work budgeted by SINAPI. Regarding this difference, it can be noted that the possible cause of this discrepancy concerns the different unit costs of some SINAPI items in relation to SICRO 3, as well as the differences in compositions and inputs needed to perform the same services analyzed in both budgets.
