Resumo:
The university period is marked by a transition to a new reality, which there are many challenges
for students to reconcile the daily routine with the university curriculum and course demands.
This whole paradigm was considerably affected after the beginning of the Covid-19 virus
pandemic in 2020, so that many students had to abruptly change their lives due to the social
isolation restrictions adopted to face the virus. Consequently, a great moment of uncertainty,
stress and food insecurity was generated, as many people lost their jobs, the universities stopped
working and, linked to this, the fear of contamination and death due to the virus. In addition,
there was the initial problem of lack of concrete information and the circulation of fake news,
resulting in a collapse in society. Thus, during this period, one of the escapes to compensate
emotional exhaustion used by many university students was to eat compulsively or stop eating
at all. Then, the objective of this research is to evaluate the main challenges for the construction
of a healthy lifestyle and eating behavior after the period of the Covid-19 pandemic for students
from different courses at the Federal University of Campina Grande/Education Center and

undergraduate students from all courses on the Cuité/PB campus of UFCG – CES. The research

situations from the use of the Perceivde Stres Scale - PSS. The second model will assess the
challenges in building a healthy lifestyle, which will be established through the Tree Factor
