Resumo:
Conflicts can manifest in any work environment, particularly in health services,
conducive to aggressive demonstrations that have increased during the
pandemic. Violence involves users, professionals, administration and suppliers.
Underreporting and ignorance of the laws to penalize aggressors act as limiting
factors to curb this phenomenon. This paper is directed to the existing conflicts in
the doctor's work environment and questions about the existence of laws in the
country that can be applied to discourage this practice. The objective is to identify
the forms of violence practiced, their causes, consequences and to analyze if the
legislation in force can be used against the aggressors. The methodology used
in this paper is qualitative research, delimited by the deductive approach method,
methods of monographic and comparative procedure and by the techniques of
bibliographic research. The research highlights the need to adopt preventive
measures, presents the applicable legal resources to inhibit violence against
doctors, emphasizes the importance of training in methods for conflict resolution
with health professionals and greater rigor in the application of laws.
