Abstract:
The economic scenario of civil construction in the pandemic period forced companies and offices to adopt methodologies capable of optimizing their processes, thus resorting to BIM. This study addresses the compatibility of projects, one of the main tools of the methodology. The basic projects provided by different professionals were adopted, and the modeling and compatibility between them was carried out, following a BIM execution plan, providing at the end a fully compatible file, together with a report with the most practical solutions found. Therefore, the federated model demonstrates that the compatibility using the BIM methodology happens efficiently, bringing economic advantages and in the execution time of the work.
