Abstract:
The current construction market has undergone several transformations.
resulting largely from the need to combine constructive practices with
technological innovations, providing greater productivity, rationalization of
costs, reduced deadlines and other characteristics required by the market each
increasingly competitive and demanding. In this context, the use of concrete
prestressed has become very useful, especially in structures that have
large free spans and are subject to high loads. Therefore, the
The present work aims to carry out a study of the economic impact
in pillars and elements of foundations resulting from the application of slab in
prestressed concrete, making a parallel to solid slabs, comparing
quantity of materials and budgets will be used two methods of
different composition and pricing, therefore, the study will also be
descriptive characteristic, since it describes the parameters, their advantages and
disadvantages. The comparison obtained a result in a savings of R$
158,498.10 in the option for the system with prestressing, compared to the system
conventional, equivalent to 42.21% difference in structural elements
pillars and foundation. In view of the above, for the architecture of the floors
analyzed, the structural system of prestressed concrete slab had an impact
significant, presenting lower global direct cost in the structural elements
pillars and foundation, due to the economy of materials mainly steel and
concrete and the productivity of the services involved in the execution of the system.
