Resumo:
The pharmaceutical industry represents a primordial process for the good execution of the assistance service for customers, who search for the convenience of acquiring medicines and pharmaceutical inputs in a fast and practical way. Besides, the Brazilian pharmaceutical sector ranks 6th in the world. Therefore, a dedicated management of their stock by the supply center becomes necessary, in order to always guarantee the availability of the products to the customer. Therefore, the present work aims to study a pharmaceutical company and suggest improvements in its stock management, in order to control and optimize its resources, considering the needs that the site lacked. The proposed methods were developed with the use of the kanban methodology as a way to optimize the processes and avoid failures in the replenishment system. Kanban is a lean production tool, which aligned with its lean philosophy, or more specifically, lean healthcare, refers to the use of the tool aiming at the elimination of waste, focusing on the optimization of its resources. These were the guidelines for the execution of the study, which aimed to create a methodology to eliminate the existing errors in the inventory system of a pharmaceutical distribution center. At the end of the study, the objectives established by the study were reached, promoting improvements in the sector, allowing openings for future improvement applications.
