Abstract:
This work addresses the concept of early childhood education, the interaction between
family and school in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic context, the difficulty and use
of remote teaching in children's daily lives. The study aimed to analyze the
performance of schools in the learning process of children in Early Childhood
Education, in the context of a pandemic in the face of home guidelines implemented
by Remote Teaching. The stages of the work were carried out by reviewing the
literature on studies that address Early Childhood Education, interaction between
family, children and school and Remote Teaching, among others, the approaches of
Cordeiro (2020), Picchioni (2020), Vigotsky (2006); the study of laws such as the
Common Curricular Base (BNCC), the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA), and some
research involving remote teaching. The results reveal that despite the efforts of
schools and teachers to offer remote teaching, it does not guarantee the same quality
of learning in the school environment, as children do not always focus on online classes
and the resources used do not promote social interaction. necessary for students to
advance in their cognitive development.
