Résumé:
The present work describes the results of the application of a sequence of classes, applied in two classes
of the 7th year of elementary school, of the content related to Integers. The classes were applied in a
public school in the city of Baraúna-PB from February 21, 2022 to March 18, 2022 (4 weeks). In these
applications, the Japanese teaching methodology called Lesson Study was used, together with this
methodology, Problem Solving and mathematical games were also used. Lesson Study is a methodology
carried out in groups, aimed at, in short, improving teaching from analysis, applications and reflections
of classes, involving their planning, execution, post-class analysis, reflection and replanning of classes.
The objective of this work is to analyze the possibilities and limitations of teaching through the Lesson
Study methodology with the use of Problem Solving and games in mathematics teaching. The data
collected were obtained from observations and records of students' responses. We realized that the use
of the Lesson Study methodology, together with Problem Solving and games are excellent tools to help
the teacher in the classroom, but some care must be taken and some actions adapted to the students'
context. We believe that the objective of teaching the content was fulfilled, but that in some points these
methodologies needed to be better worked, exploring more didactic possibilities, these changes are as
suggestions at the end of the work.
