Abstract:
The great technological advance that has taken place in recent years, as well as urban expansion and the development of increasingly challenging architectures, has made structural projects in reinforced concrete that were previously done manually, have in technology a great ally, computer software. , which facilitate the modeling, analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures. Currently, there are several software capable of performing the structural design in reinforced concrete of buildings, so this study was carried out with the objective of comparing the results of the designs carried out through the TQS V20 and EBERICK 2021 software, developed by the companies TQS INFORMÁTICA and ALTOQI, respectively. For the comparative study, the same structure of a 4-story residential building was modeled in the TQS and EBERICK software based on the guidelines of NBR 6118 (ABNT, 2014). Processing in both software resulted in a structure considered to be of fixed nodes, with eberick presenting greater loads on the foundations and larger dimensions of the shoes. The TQS presented smaller displacements of the slabs and beams. The consumption of materials in the TQS was lower, showing a reduction in the costs of the work. It is concluded that, for the building under study, both software satisfied the normative requirements in structural design in reinforced concrete, with one of the software presenting more satisfactory results, but it must be taken into account that each one has particularities and criteria in the design. of the structures.
