Resumo:
Ionospheric piasma irregularities have been studied recently by remote technique
with the purpose to understand the terrestrial ionosphere dynamics and morphology.
Of the studies of the ionospheric irregularities we can highiight the plasma bubbies.
They have origin in the tropical nighttime ionosphere and many aspects of the
dynamics these structures already are known and many other are over investigation
stage. The east-west drift not is usual (it is more usual west-east drift), up to that
time, few cases had been studied. Using almost seven years of Oi 630 nm images
data, it was calculated the plasma bubble drifts through the Computational methods
and it did an analysis of the east-west plasma bubble drifts. Using the Dst
geomagnetic index. it was characterized magnetically the observed days. The mainly
results were the east-west drifts can be observed as magneticaliy quite periods as
magneticaily disturbance periods and the greater number of the inversion of the drift
direction, probably happened due the prompt penetrations of Hall electric Held
associated with the variation rate of horizontal magnetic held. One of the inversions
can be associated to penetration of strong magnetic storm energy in the ionosphere
and two other inversion cases can be related with the initial stage of plasma bubble
generation,
