Abstract:
Given the reality established by the Covid-19 pandemic, the CFN granted online nutritional
assistance to provide nutritional support. Therefore, this study aimed to point out the
perceptions about nutrition teleconsultation, discussing the evaluation, nutritional diagnosis,
challenges and advantages of this method of care. This is a bibliographic review research, which
was elaborated through a bibliographic survey in databases, in which 25 scientific articles were
included in the research in its entirety, but 8 of them directly portray the therapy studied in this
work. . In view of the nutritionists' reports, anthropometry, contact with the patient and technical
difficulties are the most affected points in teleservice. In addition, problems with Internet access
in some regions, incompatible camera, lack of understanding of technology, concerns about
security or the desire to be physically accompanied were limitations presented by patients.
Despite this, the professionals indicated that they were satisfied with the method of care, stating
that it was an excellent option during the pandemic, and that it should remain a complementary
method to face-to-face consultations. Therefore, it is concluded that in view of the perceptions,
the nutrition teleconsultation during the pandemic was a viable method.
