Resumen:
In view of the need to think about some issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the present study deals with the inclusion of these children with ASD in Early Childhood Education, and seeks, in general terms, to discuss the importance of this process and the possibilities for its effectiveness. Therefore, its general objective is to identify how the inclusion of children with ASD in Early Childhood Education can be carried out. The specific objectives are intended to identify and analyze, from the bibliography studied, the possibilities for the inclusion of children with ASD in Early Childhood Education, and to demonstrate the importance of including children with autism in the regular school network. Then, a research with a qualitative approach and of a descriptive and exploratory nature was carried out in its bibliographic character, it was developed from the principles of the State of Knowledge, with the survey of productions in the theses and dissertations banks of CAPES and BDTD, published from 2011 to 2021. The data analysis procedure was carried out through reading, interpretation and construction of categories. In view of this, it is verified in its results that inclusive education, specifically dealing with children with autism, presents some challenges, but also that there are possibilities to overcome them. It was also found that the legislation dealing with the rights of people with ASD is an important factor in achieving inclusion, as well as adequate teacher training, in order to enable them to meet the educational needs of students. Finally, it is important to highlight that the following guiding question of the research: How is it possible to include children with ASD in Early Childhood Education, so that they can develop their potential in the educational process?, was answered , as well as the defined objectives were achieved.
