This monographic production had as research object the organization of pedagogical work during physical distancing, in the context of the covid-19 pandemic in the years 2020 and 2021, in the municipality of Cajazeiras-PB. This production had the general objective of knowing and reflecting on how the teaching practice was articulated that allowed the realization of emergency remote teaching in the context of the covid-19 pandemic in public schools in the municipality of Cajazeiras-PB. The research question of this study was: How did elementary school teachers from public schools continue school activities? To this end, we sought to answer this question based on the following categories of analysis: a) teaching in the context of the covid-19 pandemic, with input from Lamim-Guedes (2020); Simone Bica Charczuk (2020); Thalyta Freitas dos Santos Laguna et al (2021); b) teaching practices in Vasconcellos (2014); Tardif (2001); Pepper (1999); c) approaches to the teachinglearning process in Mizukami (1986). The methodological procedures undertaken for this production relied on field research, which opted for a bibliographic study and application of a questionnaire to teachers from public schools in the city of Cajazeiras-PB for data collection, with analysis by recurrent categories. As a result of the research, the pedagogical practices used to carry out emergency remote teaching are found, as well as the difficulties encountered in overcoming them, including social inequalities, the students' learning deficit, the lack of planning by Organs national education to coordinate remote teaching and denialism by the federal government. The research demonstrates how teachers managed to overcome adversities and promote teaching and learning in elementary school, using technologies and didactic-pedagogical materials, which can diagnose unique ways ofovercoming adversities and new applications of education theories and methodologies. of teaching in teaching practices from the classroom.
