The study presents conceptions about the psychomotricity in early childhood education from the perspective of public school pedagogues. The interest in the subject arose during my internship in Early Childhood Education. The general objective of the study is: to understand the importance of psychomotricity to achieve the global development of the child. Regarding the theoretical framework, I present the concept of psychomotricity and the contributions of authors in the area such as Bueno (2014) and Fonseca (2008), in addition to approach about the importance of the pedagogue's performance in the classroom. In relation to the methodology I bring the characterization of the research. It is a field research of a basic nature, with a qualitative approach and the data collection took place through a semistructured interview. Two public school teachers were interviewed, who volunteered spontaneously. Finally, the analysis and results achieved were considered satisfactory, because according to the pedagogues interviewed, they understand the importance of psychomotricity in the concrete realization of the global development of the child, making use of activities in an interdisciplinary way that makes it possible to achieve this objective in a effective.
