Resumen:
For a future teacher, teaching practice is the most significant moment to complement their
academic construction as a professional. The pedagogical residency plays an important role in
the life of the undergraduate student, as new ideas are generated to innovate in teaching and
learning, showing that it is possible to carry out theory and practice. Regardless of the
situation, the Pedagogical Residence program proved to be relevant in the process of teacher
training, this statement can be proven with the importance of the activities developed in that
program in the difficult period imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, where school activities
were carried out remotely. Therefore, the present work aims to understand the importance of
the Pedagogical Residency Program and its contribution together with Information and
Communication Technologies (ICT's) for the development of methodologies in remote
teaching of Chemistry during the pandemic period. The data of the present research were
collected remotely through Google Forms for all residents in the teaching of chemistry who
participated in the Pedagogical Residency in that period. The use of ICT's during the
pandemic was indispensable for teachers, students and residents, as it opened up new teaching
possibilities and challenges to be faced, contributing even more to the teaching training of
residents, bringing new experiences to put into practice in the exercise of teaching profession
in the classroom.
