Abstract:
The present work has as its object of study the continuous training for the use of digital
technologies in the period of remote teaching. The general objective was: to understand the importance of continuing education for the use of digital technologies in pedagogical practices in a school in the rural area of the city of Baixio-CE. And the specific objectives form: Discuss the motivations for the search for continuing education, in the period of remote classes, for the use of digital technologies, by the teachers interviewed; Identify which were the continuing training carried out, in the period of remote classes, for the use of digital technologies, by the interviewed teachers; Reflect on how these continuing education contributed to the teaching practice in the classroom in the remote period. As for the methodology of the work, the research was carried out through a field research, as a data collection instrument, an interview was carried out in person, with three teachers from the initial years. From the data analysis, it was possible to verify that even in the midst of the pandemic period and remote classes, education had to adapt to the use of new digital technologies, which supported remote classes, thus, continuing the educational process, even with a lot of damage, be it intellectual, mental or material, it was contacted that yes, there was education and learning within the remote classes, since teachers seek to have more training on the use of these tools within the classroom process, even if the classes are virtual.
