The Internship in the training of the licentiate becomes relevant as it provides opportunities for experiences in the environment of future performance. It is fundamental to discuss it as a contribution to teacher training that objective to reflect on the knowledge acquired at the university and that of the future work environment, by enabling undergraduates to develop skills and competences specific to the profession and to improve practices in line with the current educational scenario. Research is carried out on the Internship in Early Childhood Education, with the objective of analyzing the contributions of the Internship to teacher training. Therefore, it is necessary to describe the importance of the Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education for teacher training, identify the contributions of the Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education in the development of teaching practices and reflect the importance to combine practice and theory in the teaching and learning processes from the Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education. A research is then carried out that is configured according to the collection procedures as a case and document study, of a basic nature, qualitative approach and has a descriptive character. The work was developed from studies by authors in the area, with the analysis of reports provided through interviews and reports of Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education produced by Pedagogy undergraduates from UFCG-CFP on the Cajazeiras campus. In view of this, it appears that the Internship has great contributions to teacher training, as it allows for the knowledge of the reality of schools and of how the teaching and learning process is taking place, as well as the importance of the union between theory and practice and how this period is of fundamental importance in the construction of the teaching identity, moment when the subject perceives himself or not, a teacher.
