Intensive Care Patients, in addition to presenting pre-existing
illnesses due to problems such as loneliness, anxiety, sleep disorder and fear of death. The
whole process contributes to the appearance of Press Injuries, since the skinissue is a decision.
Objective: to identify, based on the literature, the main risk factors for the occurrence of
PressureInjury in the context of Intensive Care. Method: this is an integrativeliterature
review, where the collection was carried out from March to June 2022, based on
articlespublished in the last 5 years. Initially, 409 articles were identified, selecting these, 20
information, which hadrelevant and currentarticles to specify the theme. Results: the results
showed that nurses are responsible for identifying the occurrence of Pressure, determining the
insufficiency and analyzing the profile of each patient. Nursing professionals, especially
nurses, must understand patient-related risk factors and high functionality tools such as a
Braden scale. Discussion: Pressure Injuries are caused by a set of factors, including extrinsic
factors, which are not part of the essence of the individual. In addition, there are also intrinsic
factors that are part of individual characteristics. Such lesions are more common in the sacral
region, and are usuallyassociated with dermatitis and the use of diapers, and as risk factors,
there are age, nutritional conditions, friction, pressure on the bonyprominence and shear
force. Conclusion: the present study met the proposed objective and highlights in relation to
the assessment tools for the formation of PressureInjury, the Braden scale as the most used.
There are no therapeutic measures to the mechanism of preventivemeasures, in order to

adoption of instruments by preventivemeasures. The study reinforces the importance of
preventive actions for the development of PressureInjury, considering its importance in
