Abstract:
The interpersonal relationships experienced in the work environment can be a key factor in building a friendly coexistence, generating social wellbeing, collaborating with the collective, progress and productivity. At the University, outsourced workers are divided into categories/functions to provide their services and meet the needs of the institution. On a daily basis, these workers relate directly or/and indirectly with the academic community, causing social and affective exchanges. The main objective of the research is to investigate how interpersonal relationships happen in the work environment of outsourced workers at the Federal University of Campina Grande – UFCG, Cajazeiras campus, in Paraíba. This research is basic in nature. Its objective is through exploratory research. The approach used in the work is of a qualitative nature. The research technique was the use of the interview. The method used in the research is the CA – Content Analysis. The results obtained in this research demonstrate that there is a prevalence of interpersonal relationships in the work environment of these outsourced workers, as well as the recognition of the other as na integral part of themselves.
