Résumé:
The oral tradition tale can be understood as a type of tale rich in culture and educational
possibilities. It can be seen, however, that it still divides many opinions, some believe in its educational function and in the need to be worked on, while others do not give it much credit, making it celebrated only on specific occasions. With that in mind, this work was guided by the following research question: What is the educational function of tales of oral tradition? We take as a general objective: To understand the educational function of working the tales of oral tradition with groups of Early Years of one of the schools of Ipaumirim/CE. As for the specific objectives, we have: Investigate the presence or absence of folk tales in classes in the early years of elementary school; Investigate how folk tales can contribute to the school educational process of classes in the early years; Reflect on the educational purpose of oral stories and ways of being worked on by teachers; To analyze the educational function of folk tales and their impact on the formation of students in the early years of elementary school. Busatto (20122013), Benjamin (1987), Matos (2014), Sisto (2021), Tierno (2010) Velasco (2018) are some of the authors that support the ideas of the theoretical foundation. The research has a basic nature, based on a qualitative approach (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986). For data collection, scripts of questions were prepared in Word for three groups of respondents: teachers who work in classes in the early years of elementary school, professional storytellers and traditional storytellers. The answers were obtained through face-to-face interviews, online via Google Meet and Whatsapp. From the analyzes we can understand that the oral tradition tale has its importance recognized, but on the other hand it is still little explored.
