Abstract:
The use of the remote teaching methodology was the main alternative so that classes could
be continued due to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools/institutions
found themselves in the need to use the most different Communication Technologies
(ICT’s) to carry out the remote classes, it was extremely important to incorporate
platforms such as Google Meet and Google Classroom to run live classes and send
materials and notes respectively. In this perspective, the present work sought to analyze
the main difficulties faced during this period of pandemic in education, highlighting what
it was like to migrate from traditional teaching to the remote modality and the
communication technologies necessary for the continuity of classes. The semi-structured
interview was the methodology used to obtain the data, the simple sampling methodology
(AAS) was also used to select the interviewed students, use the website
“Sorteador.com.br” to perform a draw and whatsapp as main means of communication.
