Resumo:
Introduction The concern with the environment has made constant the discussion about new alternatives for the generation of electric energy. It has been noticed, more and more, that consumers are investing in distributed generation, especially in photovoltaic solar energy. This scenario, although recent, has initiated an important transformation in the way electric energy is consumed. Thus, this work has as a general objective to discuss the technical and economical aspects of the implementation of a solar photovoltaic system in an industrial consumer unit of subgroup A4. Objective The specific objectives are the feasibility analyses from the proposed sizing of systems with two types of generation: on-grid and off-grid. Methodology The work was developed based on the case study of an industry located in the city of Esperança-PB. Results Thus, the results, based on the technical and economic feasibility analysis of the two designs, were presented. Conclusion Thus, it is believed that the development of this work has achieved the objectives established in the elaboration of the proposal.
