Abstract:
This work aims to understand how Lélia Gonzalez presents an idea of Brazil in her production through her political militancy and academic activities, to analyze from studies related to Brazilian social and political thought, with authors of locating blacks who had great think about the issue of black people and investigate how racial happened as Brazilians after the slavery period and the action of militancy in the anti-racist struggle: (MUNANGA, 1999), (DAVIS, 2016). (MOURA, 2019). This work starts from a content analysis following the steps indicated by (SILVA, GOBBI, SIMÃO, 2005). The results of black democracy show how great contributions of the population to the social and cultural construction of the Africanist country are considered in a Brazilian society.
