Abstract

This monographic work aimed to analyze the construction and use of the game Exploring the Relief, showing the range of contributions to the teaching process and learning in Geography. The game brings in its proposal the approach of the theme related to the main characteristics of the Land Relief. The subjects involved in this research are the students of the 6th Year A class, together with the Geography teacher at E.M.E.I.E.F. Matias Duarte Rolim, located in the municipality of Cajazeiras, Paraíba. The study was based on bibliographic research that structured a workshop given in two stages: first, we problematized an expository and dialogic class regarding the Terrestrial Relief content, presenting its main geographical characteristics. The second and last stage of the workshop consisted of the presentation and application of the game Explorando o Relevo. The desired results with all stages of the research were presented in a significant way, thus enabling, through playfulness, to develop environments of more dynamic, attractive and interactive learning.
