Resumen:
In this paper we analyze some of the goddess’ Isis representations in the period
related to the New Kingdom, especially between 1400 BC and 1100 BC,
moment reign of the pharaohs of XVIII, XIX and XX dynasties. Because of the
importance that the isiac cult hits during this period, when the myth of Osiris,
which is related, becomes popular, there is a significant increase in
iconographic representations of these deities, particularly in the royal tombs
interiors, by its association with resurrection. We prioritize some images to
compare with the texts already produced on the subject, which will help us to
analyze the different roles that Isis receives in this period.
