The use of new technological tools as a new mode of mediation of learning in the COVID-19 pandemic in Geography classes.
The present course conclusion work aims to present a reflective analysis about the use of new technological tools as a new mode of mediation of learning in the covid-19 pandemic in Geography classes at E.E.E.F.M.Dom Moisés Coêlho in the city of Cajazeiras-PB in years 2020 and 2021. With the specific objectives, we seek to identify the conceptions of the use of new technologies in teaching and learning during the covid-19 pandemic; recognize teaching methodologies through the use of information and communication technologies as mediators of learning. The choice of thematic is justified by the fact that this is a current subject, interesting for the educational context and that provides an effective learning to the initial formation of the future teacher. The work has social relevance in view of its peculiar connotation that requires many debates on the use of technological resources as a subsidy that mediated learning in the covid-19 pandemic, bringing the need for adaptation by students and teachers to their use of conscious way. The methodology used in the construction of this study was bibliographic research, through articles, books, theses and dissertations that discuss the theme explored here. Field research was also used, of a qualitative nature, with the application of a questionnaire, containing 10 (ten) open questions, aimed at understanding the theme, being applied with the Geography teachers of the aforementioned educational institution. The guiding question, problematic of this theme is to know how and to what extent the use of new technologies as an instrument of mediation of learning occurred in the covid-19 pandemic? The results show that teachers used the internet, technological resources, applications and cell phones to send tasks and content to students. The conclusion refers to the effective use of technologies in the mediation of learning, and teachers consider this resource of great importance for interaction between students and reveal that they will continue to use technologies as means and viable alternatives to boost the teaching of Geography.
