Resumen:
The subject Circuits for Communications comprises an extensive syllabus to be followed,
dealing with topics among which there’s possible to mention: non-linear controlled sources
with simple and compound discontinuities, quadratic, exponential and differential
characteristics; combinations of reactive elements and non-linear sources; bipolar transistor
sine wave oscillators, FET and differential pair, harmonic distortion; IF mixers and amplifiers;
modulators, demodulators and power amplifiers. In this work, it was proposed to prepare a
document that provides in detail the necessary information so that the readers, especially
students of the course Circuits for Communications, can reproduce the simulations of devices
and circuits present in the emission and reception modules of communication systems. The
guide presents a theoretical approach to the themes and provides step-by-step instructions for
the development and realization of simulations of circuit designs for communications. These
ones are set in LTspice, a simulation software for analog electronic circuits based on the SPICE
language.
