Abstract

This work approaches acurrent source rectifier topology in order to eliminate the instantaneous power oscillations in the DC-bus, acommon problem in single-phase converters, allowing a smaller inductance to be used in the DCside. This topology also presents fewer switch losses, since only two will be conducting simultaneously. Similar projects are shown to achieve better understanding, and simulation and prototype results are shown.
