Resumo:
Rural Mobile Telephony is a means of communication for the rural man, who spends most of his time away from the city, and often unable to interact and communicate. Therefore, Rural Mobile Telephony is the viable solution to resolve the aforementioned difficulties, as it provides an economically viable solution for the sector and location at the expense of Cellular signal coverage. This field research project focused on rural mobile telephony for the Nupeárido/UFCG Farm in Patos-PB had as its general objective: Connect the TDMA system, using the frequency band above 900 Mhz, through antennas, and radiofrequency, with the other equipment connected with a scale of 8 to 15 Dbi, so that we can use the WiFi network with a wide and excellent signal scale, in order to promote the support offered to the activities inherent to the practical classes and research of the Veterinary Medicine Course, Engineering Forestry and Biological Sciences, Ecology and, as well as other Graduate Programs (Specialization, Master's and Doctorate). It also aimed to make a dimensioning of the most suitable points for its implementation; Provide for the installation of a Cellular signal amplifier, with a repeater connected to the TDMA (Division Multiple Access) system and cellular lines in which landline telephones with a cell phone chip input enable the expansion of the signal in twice or combined with an external antenna, up to 50 times. For that, a bibliographic research was carried out and the implementation planning (field research) through the making of a model mapping the area of offer of computer network services, as well as such as the elaboration of a booklet listing the minimum equipment and systems needed to install a computer network in rural areas. The results should point to the improvement in communication from the use of repeaters in the implementation of cellular mobile systems.
