Resumen:
Digital marketing has been modernizing the way and the way of doing marketing in companies,
because it requires a different way of planning and executing actions in order to promote products,
services and maintain a relationship with consumers through digital channels. O
This article seeks to understand the use of social media as a marketing strategy
digital in companies in the women's clothing sector in the city of Pombal-PB. The search is from
exploratory and descriptive character and the methodological approach of a quantitative nature,
using as a data collection instrument, a structured questionnaire with questions
objective. The main results obtained indicate that most companies operating in the
women's clothing sector in the city of Pombal-PB, have been undertaking for over 10 years and
invest in digital marketing to promote their business, mainly seeking to increase
sales, improve customer relationships and gain competitive advantage. it was observed
also that managers face some difficulties to manage digital marketing,
such as the availability of time and the difficulty in planning strategies aimed at the
target Audience.
