Abstract:
The term sustainability has been gaining more and more strength over the years, policies such as reverse logistics emerge as a methodology to achieve sustainable development and ensure competitive advantage. Thus, this paper discusses the use of Business Intelligence and the multi-criteria decision support method SAPEVO-M as tools for the implementation of reverse logistics in Big Bags packaging. To this end, on-site visits were made with the purpose of collecting data, photos, and videos in the period from April to August 2022. The results indicated that 82.54% of the packages discarded by the company can be reused or sold, generating a revenue of R$ 1,370.00 with the transference, the rest represents an opportunity cost of R$ 290.00 or 21.1% of the total. Subsequently, the online computational tool SADEMON was used for the application of the SAPEVO-M method, determining the best option for a bag sanitization and repair service provider, guaranteeing the reverse cycle of the analyzed packages.
