Abstract:
The incidence of reduced housing grows gradually, while the demand for products that suit them as well. On the other hand, it grows, with so much urban expansion, the furniture factories located in Campina Grande only increase their production but, on the other hand, waste a lot of material, especially MDF. Seeing this, it is clear that the products for compact environments offered by the market, which bring the necessary characteristics for this type of environment, is still low and often directed to an inappropriate target audience, that is, that does not match the added value. in search. In recent times, there has been a growing migration of young people to reduced housing, translated into multifunctional activity centers, thus changing the way in which the residential space is configured and experienced. Given this fact, the present study aims to analyze and raise concepts that surround the theme "furniture" as well as the behavior of the current furniture market. In this way, through the application of design and its user-centered methodology, we seek to develop furniture that brings solutions for small spaces, through modularity, also adding technology, and seeking the union of storing, storing and dividing.
