In this paper, we consider the effective electromagnetic theory formulated by Myers- Pospelov derived from higher orders and constant fields, thus, dimension-5 operators. The main feature of this theory is to modify the dispersion relation and describe highly energetic particles. This feature opens up the possibility to study new effects from the Planck scale, and in turn the system power theories such as quantum gravity. Once we have modified the dispersion relation, this motivates us to study the dynamics of a photon gas in this context. As a result, we observe that the main equations of state as the entropy of the classical system, suffers a correction logarithmic-linear in temperature in your description. Such behavior can be associated with a stage prior to the beginning of the evolution of the scale of the ultra-violet (Planck scale).
