Abstract:
Environmental influence on biochemical variables in crossbred goats. This study aims to evaluate the environmental effects on biochemical variables in crossbred goats in the period May-June 2013 relating to the rainy season. 10 crossbred Anglo-Nubian goats were used, with an average body weight of 60 kg and a mean age of 36 months, we used the randomized design in a factorial 2 x 2 divided into two treatments: with shadow and without shadow, in turn morning and afternoon on days 0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 and ten repetitions.Environmental parameters, air temperature, relative humidity, dew pointtemperature and black globe temperature were obtained every two hours in the microclimate of each treatment by dataloggers. Blood samples for performing biochemical, were held in the morning period (9 h) and late (15 h). Environmental parameters and variations in biochemical indicators are influenced by shifts and the use of shading. The concentrations of total protein exerted influence on the shifts, days and environments. Was no effect on serum cholesterol concentration in relation to days. The serum concentration of the enzyme AST varied significantly for environments and days. The GGT was influenced by environments, presenting a significant and strong correlation to room temperature and hence to relative humidity. The glucose concentrations were affected in all treatments with variations in the results.
