Abstract:
The sewage treatment when performed may be used in agriculture as a
water source through irrigation, in addition to providing water for crops, benefits from
improving the local environmental conditions and the supply of chemicals in the soil.
The drip irrigation drip is the best form of application by applying water uniformly in
the area and decreasing the contamination of crops and workers. The application of the
problem via drip system is the obstruction of issuers, due to poor water quality,
dimensional factors and characteristics of the dripline. The main cause of obstruction
operated drip irrigation system with treated domestic sewage is the biofilm, a
microbiological mucus formed by the proliferation and adhesion of bacterial colonies in
the issuers flow path. In this respect was carried out a literature review on the use of domestic sewage through drip irrigation, addressing aspects such as production,
processing, and application issues.
