Resumo:
The objective was to evaluate spatial and temporal salinity of
groundwater in the city of Boa Vista-PB. The study was to research field the city of Boa
Vista, totaling an area of 446.30 km2, located between latitudes coordinates 7º09'03,7
"and 7º22'19,7" south latitude and 36º05'25,6 "36º22'22,8 and" west longitude. the
climate, according to Köppen classification, is the BSh type ', which means hot semiarid,
with average rainfall is 416 mm / year. the survey began in October 2014,
extending to August 2015, which was collected in 02 times for the average salt content
of the wells surveyed in reference to the first stage were collected 86 samples from
sources throughout the municipality, performing a diagnosis the quality of their
groundwater. the second time was reduced because some wells dried up and others were
broken and can only be collected 76 points and the same were georeferenced. the points
were georeferenced using a GPS 12XL, and photographed with digital machine. the
collection was carried out at the point where water flows into the flow, avoiding the
most contaminated reservoirs (water cooler), but getting directly pumping. the salt
content were analyzed expressed by the electrical conductivity of water (CEA), total
dissolved salts (TDS), cations, anions, hydrogen potential (pH), and sodium adsorption
ratio (SAR) in water in the city of Boa Vista , PB.
