Resumo:
There are theoretical reasons, inspired in the theories of unification, that allows
us to believe in the existence of extra dimensions. In such a scenario, one of the
most thought-provoking, according to the theoretical point of view is the Brane model
known as RSII, in which our quadri-dimensional space-time is immerged in a space
environment contains one extra dimension with infinite length. One of the biggest
challenges in this model is to find exact solutions that represent black holes or stars
that are confined in the Brane. Our goal in this paper is to offer a method for obtaining
of exact solutions that describes the matter that is confined in the Brane starting from
the already known metrics of the space environment with axial symmetry. To achieve
this goal, we will use one indirect method for obtaining these solutions, the Immersion
method, which consists in using the ˆaShifting, Reflecting and Stretchingˆa Method to
the immersion formalism. With this, we can determine the physical properties of
distribution of matter, pointing out that such a method can be used to Branes with
any shapes. By studying some particular cases, we reproduced results already obtained
before.
