Resumo:
The theory of cosmic inflation has an important place in Modern Cosmology, and the development of the scenario of an inflationary universe has revealed a promising new way o linking Fundamental Physics with observations. After a brief immersion in standard cosmological theory, we study aspects of inflationary theory and discover how a scalar field (inflaton), can be used to expand the universe primarily, as well as to obtain the forms of spectral indexes that provide us with a link between theory and experimental observations.
